A Walk along the Beach,

I did not work this day and I did not have any plans, however I knew that and I asked that today would count for the Kingdom. I could have stayed home slept in ( Oh ya I did sleep in!) But I did know that I was not going to just sit around on my laptop or read a book all day long today I had a drive to go out today. So off to see what water front city park had to offer today. It was fairly quiet not to many people out and about. the sun was pleasantly warm with a nice cool breeze coming off the Okanagan lake. I had the idea that I was going to go for a run along the water's edge. Instead I strolled along the side walk keeping my Spirit Man alert to all going on around me. I was coming up to a group of international students playing volley ball and as I watched one of them had to leave and they needed another player. They looked around,( I had my ear buds in listening to music) and they seemed unsure of if to disturb me to ask me to fill in. So Seeing this I removed my ear buds and asked if they needed another player. They seemed to be relived that they did not have to ask me.( They could not speak english very well they were a group from a private school that was teaching them english.) So I played beach volley ball for at least an hour! I felt accepted by this group because I find that international student are friendlier and love to include anyone they can. I don't find this with the North American culture. Any ways we had a lot of fun. I felt that it was time to go so I thanked them and left. Was this the encounter that God used me for to be a friend to these international students? I think yes, however there is more. As I was walking back to my bike I decided I was going to take the short cut past the skate park and past the water park. As I was passing the water park there was a lady sitting on the grass fruit loops spilt and some crushed in front of her it looked like she had had some kids around her at some point. She was crying. I was about to walk past her when my Spirit said stop. So I stopped and turned around and asked her if she was ok. She said yes. I started to walk away and my Spirit said wait and I remembered what Apostle Everton Weeks had said about how people cry out for help in different ways and at that moment I knew she needed someone who would listen to her. So I asked are you sure you are ok? At that moment she said, " It's just that I miss my kids." So I sat down beside her and waited. I did not have to wait long or prompt her she then told me over the next 20 some minutes how she was in a car accident and that she had had minor brain injury but social services had taken her 3 beautiful children from her and were put into foster care. She told me how at the end of the month she had to move out of the place she was living and that all her things she had were going to have to be sold to pay for the hospital and lawyer bills from trying to get her kids back. Hearing all this just broke my heart and I knew this was the appointment God had set up for me today. So I told her I really had no idea how she felt because I have never been through a situation like hers. But I told her I knew someone who had, His name is Jesus and that He came to take all our hurts mentally, physically and emotionally when He came and died to take away the sins of the world. She said she had heard of Jesus. I asked her if she believed that Jesus came for her. She said yes. I told her that it is not what God wants to see His children hurting. He said that we should have life in its fullness and all good things our ours and that it is not her portion for her to be in pain and with out her kids and everything being striped from her. I asked her if she agreed, she said yes. I asked her if she believed that God can pull her up and out of the situation she was facing and heal her from all her pain she said yes. So I said can I pray for you. "yes" So I prayed that every demonic spirit be cut off in the Name of Jesus and that all that was taken from her restored to her and that all the pain in her body to leave her now. After praying I asked her if she goes to church, she said she used to and that she did not live near one now. I told her it is necessary that she gets plugged into a church and that she needs to offer up an offering from her heart to God so that the words I spoke over her life won't leave from her and so that she will start to see changes in her life right way. I then got her phone number to do follow up, gave her a small one arm hug and said I would call her. This was the event that God had for me. If we just go out and say God use me He will make appointments for you to impact this world for the Kingdom!

Blessings,
